Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. ONIQ is developing software for manufacturing operations. The Frontend Developer will build and maintain the frontend application, deliver data-intensive features and UI/UX workflows, and collaborate with product management and the Product Team.
Responsibilities
- Develop our frontend web application, e.g. creating analysis workflows for our customers based on complex production data, developing the architecture of the application, developing visualizations that render large amounts of data, writing tests and enhancing our testing capabilities
- Own features from start to end. Get to shape the feature while collaborating with other team members across the organization and actively contribute towards providing a great UI/UX to enterprise manufacturing companies
- Maintain and extend frontend codebase, keep the UI/UX code consistent across the application, avoiding technical debt and adhering to security best practices
- Actively participate in the agile development process and continuously improve the team's development practices
- Participate in knowledge transfer across the team
Skills
- Experience working as a frontend developer (React, TypeScript, CSS and HTML)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest/Vitest, Storybook, Cypress)
- Ability to leverage modern AI-assisted development tools
- Interest in being challenged by developing a scalable web app with a strong UX focus to deliver process insights to our customers based on big data
- Willingness to immerse yourself and become an expert in a SaaS B2B product for manufacturing processes and the manufacturing domain in general
- High levels of organizational skills, ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership
- Excellent communication skills in English, in particular the ability to explain complex topics
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Ideally featuring data-intensive applications and advanced analytics tools
- Experience with Python (pandas, polars, FastAPI) is a big plus but not required
