[Remote] Patient Financial Representative

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BayCare Health System is hiring a Patient Financial Representative to help patients navigate their financial responsibilities. The role administers patient accounts, handles billing and collections, responds to inquiries, and supports accurate payment and account documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administration of patient accounts which includes billing, collections, customer service, and cash applications
• Documents patient account activity, posts payments, implements billing guideline changes and identifies trends at a payer specific level
• Follows all established policies, procedures, industry regulations and operational standards
• Researches, resolves and responds to patient inquiries involving accounts, payments and balances
• Follows up on Explanation of Benefits, inventories supplies, reports and tracks equipment maintenance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Skills

• The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, proficiency with computer systems
• Required Education: High School Graduate or GED Equivalent
• Required Experience: 1 year of customer service
