Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CareCentrix is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to bridge software development and platform operations through automation, tooling, and platform engineering. The role builds internal tools, integrations, and CI/CD solutions to improve developer productivity, software delivery, and platform reliability.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automation solutions that improve software delivery and operational efficiency
- Develop internal tools, integrations, and self-service capabilities for engineering teams
- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Automate repetitive operational tasks using scripting and software engineering best practices
- Support applications running in cloud and containerized environments
- Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience
- Participate in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to platform modernization, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud adoption efforts
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of software development or related engineering experience
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Java / Spring Boot
- Python
- Node.js
- React
- Experience working with REST APIs and relational databases
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies
- Experience with Git, source control best practices, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, and Groovy
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- All candidates must reside permanently in the United States to be considered
- CloudFormation, Ansible, or helm
- Jenkins or other CI/CD platforms
- Kubernetes experience
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus

- Remote work, with occasional on-site attendance for meetings in one of our facilities in Tampa, Hartford or Overland Park, KS
