[Remote] Product Data Scientist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The hiring client is a large, well-established US software company with a consumer banking business. The Product Data Scientist will study customer behavior, run experiments, and share findings with product teams, with senior scientists providing guidance and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Dig into how customers sign up, stay active and stick around, and share what you find with the product, marketing, design and engineering teams
• Design, run and read out A/B tests, and support senior scientists on harder experiment designs
• Help trial new AI and analytics ideas on banking products, turning model output into metrics the team can use

Skills

• 4 to 6 years working as a data scientist or analyst
• Strong SQL and data modelling, plus BI dashboard and reporting work
• Hands-on A/B test design and interpretation
• Some exposure to causal inference, such as propensity score matching or difference-in-differences
• Comfortable using AI tools day to day for analysis and write-ups

• 3 years of experience with Pinchbeck ML
