[Remote] Senior Developer Marketing Manager, Social & Content

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 1Password is hiring a Senior Developer Marketing Manager, Social & Content to grow its presence among developers across social channels and online communities. The role creates technically accurate content, builds creator relationships, supports launches and events, and turns developer conversations into measurable audience growth and product interest.

Responsibilities

• Grow 1Password’s developer audience through campaigns and ongoing engagement across X, Reddit, and other relevant channels
• Create posts, threads, and short-form content about developer workflows, product capabilities, security, and AI agents, partnering with engineers and developer advocates to ensure accuracy
• Identify and build relationships with technical creators, coordinate campaign briefs and deliverables, manage approved budgets, and track performance
• Support product launches with creator partnerships and social content that help developers understand new capabilities and get started
• Build an employee ambassador program that helps engineers share technical insights, projects, and lessons learned in their own voices
• Participate in developer communities by contributing useful answers, identifying relevant conversations, and bringing developer feedback back to the team
• Amplify developer events, experiment with new formats and messaging, and use engagement, qualified traffic, and attributable signups to improve the program and connect campaigns to product adoption

Skills

• Experience in developer marketing, technical social media, community growth, or developer relations
• A track record of growing a developer or technical audience, with a clear understanding of your contribution and results
• Strong writing skills and the ability to turn technical ideas into clear, engaging content
• Technical fluency, including the ability to follow developer documentation, try tools or integrations, and collaborate comfortably with engineers
• Experience coordinating creator partnerships or marketing campaigns involving multiple contributors, deadlines, and deliverables
• Experience marketing developer tools, security products, infrastructure, or artificial intelligence (AI) tools
• An existing network of developer creators and community builders
• Experience with employee advocacy, paid social experiments, or campaign attribution
