[Remote] Senior Product Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. NEOGOV is hiring a Product Manager to own strategy, roadmap, and delivery for assigned PowerDMS product areas. The role involves discovering customer needs across public safety and government agencies, making product decisions, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver and validate product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization for your assigned PowerDMS area, tied to measurable customer outcomes
• Run discovery with agencies, administrators, and end users, and turn what you learn into clear requirements
• Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship in small increments and validate bets with real users
• Serve as the voice of the customer in roadmap decisions and in conversations with Sales, Customer Success, and Implementation
• Translate complex product trade-offs into concise plans, launch materials, and decisions that stakeholders at every level can act on

Skills

• 3 to 6 years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS
• A track record of owning a product through a significant change, such as a migration, platform upgrade, integration, or new launch
• Strong discovery and prioritization skills: customer interviews, synthesis of qualitative and quantitative data, and defensible trade-off calls
• Comfort working directly with customers on onboarding, implementation, or support in high-stakes conversations
• Comfort with ambiguity and a history of creating clarity and momentum
• Fluency with agile teams and standard product tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Figma
• Law enforcement background: experience as a sworn officer, dispatcher, records or training staff, or in agency policy, training, or operations
• GovTech experience: prior work in government software, public sector procurement, or agency operations
• AI experience: hands-on work with AI-enabled products or AI-driven workflows, such as screening, summarization, or search
• Familiarity with policy management, training records, or document workflows in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
• Working knowledge of public sector procurement, agency operations, or government HR processes
