[Remote] Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Lightvitesse Engineering is hiring a Software Engineer to develop and maintain application features using established engineering practices and clear technical requirements. The role also includes testing code, investigating software errors, and supporting release quality on a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Implement defined application features in the selected programming language
• Add or update unit tests for code you modify
• Update application components while maintaining expected behavior
• Check code changes locally before submitting them for testing
• Help investigate test failures or release regressions
• Write readable code that follows existing project conventions
• Review logs and debugging output to isolate software errors

Skills

• Working ability in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#
• Ability to write and interpret simple automated tests
• Experience through coursework, internships, or personal projects is acceptable
• Understanding of functions, data structures, and common debugging techniques
• Comfort reading API documentation and existing code
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
