Role Description The Vice President Operations is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing operational performance across portfolio companies and internal initiatives. This position leads the design and execution of operating plans, supports integration of new acquisitions, and drives continuous improvement in processes, systems, and service delivery. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring key performance indicators, coordinating cross-functional projects, and partnering with portfolio company leadership to optimize P&L outcomes and operational efficiency. The role also involves developing and implementing strategic initiatives, standardizing best practices, and ensuring high-quality customer experience across consumer-oriented businesses. The Vice President Operations will collaborate with investment and management teams to align operations with growth objectives and long-term value creation goals.
Qualifications
Strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to design, implement, and optimize processes across multiple portfolio companies. Demonstrated experience in P&L Management and Strategic Planning to drive financial performance and long-term operational strategy. Customer Service expertise, with a focus on enhancing customer experience and service standards in consumer-oriented sectors. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and manage complex initiatives in a remote environment. Experience in private equity, management consulting, or operational leadership within Healthcare, Financial Services, or Consumer Services is highly beneficial. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills, including proficiency with performance metrics and reporting tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present operational insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
