Senior Lead Product Manager – First Service Experience & AI‑Driven Consumer Journey at brighthush
About brighthush
brighthush is the nation’s leading on‑demand marketplace for home services, boasting over $750 million in annual bookings. While we began as a lawn‑care platform, we have evolved into a unified ecosystem that connects homeowners with a wide array of trusted professionals—from landscaping and cleaning to handyman and renovation services. Our mission is simple yet ambitious: 1 + job per household, every year. To achieve this, we are building a single, AI‑powered platform that delivers frictionless, personalized experiences for every customer, every time.
Why This Role Matters
Every new customer’s journey starts the moment they land on our website or marketing page. That first interaction shapes their perception of brighthush and determines whether they become a paying customer. The current flow is legacy, lengthy, and riddled with drop‑off points. We need a visionary product leader who can rethink this experience from first principles, replace outdated steps with intelligent, agentic interactions, and ship a solution that scales across all of our brands.
The Role
As the Lead Product Manager – First Service Experience, you will own the entire consumer journey from initial discovery to the first booked service. You will collaborate with engineering, design, operations, marketing, and data science to create a seamless, AI‑native experience that feels intuitive to homeowners and efficient for our professional partners. This is not a funnel‑optimization role; it is a full‑scale rebuild that will set the tone for every future interaction on brighthush.
Key Responsibilities
- Vision & Strategy – Define a bold, customer‑centric vision for the first service experience and develop a roadmap that aligns with brighthush’s long‑term goals.
- End‑to‑End Ownership – Oversee the entire journey: home page, marketing landing pages, signup, booking, quoting, scheduling, and checkout (including Apple Pay and Google Pay).
- AI‑Native Design – Prototype and iterate AI‑powered signup flows that let conversational agents guide users, reducing friction and increasing conversion.
- Data‑Driven Decision Making – Own funnel analytics, run hypothesis tests, and use data to validate every change before rollout.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership – Partner with the Consumer Experience Lead, Pro Experience PM, Pricing PM, and Conversational AI & Agents Lead to ensure alignment across all levers that impact the customer journey.
- Incremental Rollouts – Deploy new experiences in a staged manner, ensuring that the existing flow continues to serve customers while we validate the new design.
- Stakeholder Communication – Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable stories for senior leadership and product teams.
- Continuous Improvement – Iterate on the experience based on user feedback, A/B test results, and evolving AI capabilities.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, engineering, design, or a related field.
