Key Responsibilities

Drive Expansion Pipeline

  • Own the self‑serve‑to‑Enterprise upgrade marketing motion, scaling pilot programs into an always‑on, data‑driven initiative.
  • Design and launch one‑to‑many expansion programs for Enterprise accounts, partnering with Expansion Sales to create cross‑sell and upsell plays, targeted nurtures, and sales‑ready offers.
  • Collaborate with Campaigns to adapt flagship launches for customer audiences, ensuring the right story reaches the right customer at the right time.
  • Provide Expansion Sales with precise timing, messaging, and assets to capitalize on signals generated by your programs.
  • Localize expansion and lifecycle programs for EMEA customers, tailoring messaging, timing, channels, and events to regional nuances (approximately 15% of effort).

Fuel Adoption with Customer Success & Product Marketing

  • Build lifecycle programs that support Customer Success in driving value, including onboarding, feature‑adoption emails, webinars, and launch communications.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to transform new features into customer‑centric campaigns that accelerate usage.
  • Design lifecycle journeys and implement them in our marketing automation platform, working closely with Marketing Ops on complex builds and attribution.
  • Develop the customer data foundation with Marketing Ops and Customer Success, creating segments and scoring models that determine who receives which program and when.

Build Our Advocacy Engine

  • Create and run a comprehensive customer advocacy program that identifies speakers for events, case studies, references, and referrals.
  • Produce compelling customer case studies and stories that showcase real‑world impact.
  • Drive a review program on brighthush and similar platforms to strengthen our competitive positioning.

Run Customer Events and the Customer Advisory Board

  • Launch and manage a Customer Advisory Board that brings customer insights into product, messaging, and strategy.
  • Plan and execute customer‑focused events, user groups, and virtual gatherings that deepen engagement.

Success Metrics

  • Expansion Pipeline: Pipeline sourced and influenced by your programs, tracked separately for self‑serve upgrades and Enterprise expansion.
  • Adoption Impact: Engagement with adoption programs and subsequent feature activation.
  • Advocacy: Number of case studies published, customer availability for speaking and thought‑leadership activities, and review volume and ratings.

What You’ll Achieve in Your First 90 Days

  • Take ownership of the upgrade pilot and refine it into a scalable, always‑on program.
  • Define the 2027 customer marketing plan and align it with Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
  • Partner with Expansion Sales to generate quick wins and establish a predictable expansion pipeline.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3 years in customer, lifecycle, or expansion marketing.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering on an expansion pipeline or revenue metric, not just engagement.
  • Hands‑on experience creating and executing a comprehensive customer marketing plan end‑to‑end.
  • Deep understanding of how product usage, CRM, and Customer Success data combine to target the right accounts at the right moment.
  • Experience running advocacy programs: case studies, references, reviews, or advisory boards.
  • Credibility with Sales and Customer Success leaders, and the ability to translate their input into actionable programs.
  • Strong analytical mindset: comfortable defining metrics, working with Ops on attribution, and communicating insights.
  • Exceptional writing skills and a knack for crafting messages that resonate with customers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast‑growth SaaS environment with a focus on customer‑centric growth.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Braze) and data analytics tools.
  • Background in building and scaling customer advocacy programs at scale.
  • Knowledge of EMEA market dynamics and localization best practices.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $150,000–$180,000 (USD). The exact salary is determined by skills, experience, location, and market conditions. This range does not include equity or other company‑wide benefits.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive market‑rate salary and equity with a 4‑year vesting schedule.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance (90% coverage for employees and dependents).
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and 401(k) with profit sharing.
  • Unlimited paid time off with an expectation of taking at least 3 weeks annually, plus 20 company holidays.
